Are there any plans for a DirectAdmin DNS Only version (similar to cPanels DNS Only)?

A stripped down version of DA (only multi-server setup and DNS management) would be a great idea for DA. Currently you need to run a full version on each DNS server you create (and pay full version licensing fees).

I've used cPanel DNS only in the past. It's great at what it does because it only installs and runs what is required of a DNS server (SSH, Bind, and the cPanel dameon itself). I've set this up, very easily on even tiny VPS servers with great results.

Any chance of this ever being available for DA?

Are there any other DNS mirroring techniques available for DA?
 
If you are using the server for DNS only then use Webmin, its free.

I'm not sure if Webmin could provide the functionality that I would need. I have a cPanel based webhosting setup that works as follows:

I have 2 VPSs setup to operate as my DNS servers (different data centers, one US, one UK). These DNS are used to provide all DNS service to my hosting clients. In this way I can move clients between servers etc., with no downtime for users and no DNS IP changes. Cpanel DNS only syncs with each webserver automatically when domains, subdomains etc. are created.

DirectAdmin has this functionality (multi-server setup) in the full version. I've just started a new DA based hosting service, for this reason I'm now looking to recreate the DNS system I have in place with my cPanel system.

Any way to sync DA with a standard install of bind?
