I lost my files.
Filemanager gave me a very bad experience. When I tried to delete some files, I selected a file that only I want to delete and I clicked the delete button.
and modal popped up but in modal, there are two files.
But in the file list, only one file was checked.
Just I checked only one file, but two files were selected to be deleted.
It is very terrible.
I faced this problem too many times.

and sometimes, I could not select the files, I had to redirect the page and then I could select files again.

Very very very bad.

Uh sorry are you server or web/host admin / user?

Then i don't know both losing files after deleting them is yes very bad, while very bad is not having backups of them

Also read some forum rules for posting.
You forgot to mention versions and OS DA version and which Skin, and maybe helpfull for support pictures / screenshots what you mean with your text.

Also wich OS of your device you are using file manager in and which browser and version! ?

Most users / admin are using DA and filemanager for over 10 years now, so problem is normally in howto using it and you not knowing, maybe YUP the docs for help....

What DA version do you use? When you mark files to be deleted, you got a popup telling you the number of selected files. and when you click remove, DA even ask for confirmation (with nice GUI which folders or files to be removed).

Even if you accidentally deleted that files... you can restore that from a folder called Trash Bin:
