Directadmin not accessable after update: A failure in the SSL library occured

Hi folks,

I can't access my diretadmin console after I updated to the latest version. The error log reports a failure in the SSL library.
I tried to disable SSL to see if I could access the console without ssl, but no luck.

Even debugging does not return anything as mentioned here: http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=293

I'm stuck right now, any help is appreciated.
