Hey guys,

I have a client on a VPS which we recently moved to a new HW server, ever since, he can access the IP which says apache is functioning correctly but when putting :2222 at the end it fails to connect.

DirectAdmin is definatly installed.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Check firewalls on both the server and client. Make sure he is not blacklisted in /usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/ip_blacklist

Hello,

That file doesn't exist and I stopped IPtables on both the NODE and the VPS.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Yes. See scsi's post. You only addressed 2/3 of it. The port is probably blocked on the client's end.

Your IP got prolly blacklisted for some reason.

You gonna have to run "pico /usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/ip_blacklist" and edit it out.

is there an option to manage this from within DA?

I mean the ip_blacklist file.
1. Login as Admin
2. Click 'File Editor' under the Admin Tools section
3. Select the ip_blacklist from the drop-down and click Show File

And just how do you do that from the DirectAdmin control panel if you're locked out? :D
