DirectAdmin not responding on 2222

Hi,

I tried to access my DirectAdmin panel, but that does not respond.
I run only 1 website on this VPS and that is working fine.
We run csf, but my IP is on the whitelist.

Accessing the DA panel trough 2222 does not load.
I already checked https://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=75

But everything seems fine.
I did not changed something in my config, so I can not relate the problem.

How can I solve this issue?

Solved, CSF was the problem!

Well I turned CSF off and it worked.

So I dubble checked if my IP was whitelisted and it already was, so I look at the ports of CSF.
I added 2222 to my open ports and enabled CSF again.

After that it still works fine.

Aha.... that's why I asked.
Have you used the install.sh maybe?

These are the install files:

install.cpanel.sh
install.directadmin.sh
install.generic.sh
install.sh

If you use the "install.directadmin.sh" instead of the "install.sh" various DA settings will be setup automatically, like also port 2222 will be added to the port list. Maybe it's a good tip for next time.

Well the strange thing really is, that I did not change anything quite special (well not that I know).
And I also did not use the install.sh or comparable commands.

Port 2222 was not added to CSF all the time, but it worked for atleast a half year without any problems.

But I found the problem and it works perfectly right now!
