Hi!
I now changed my vps server to another, and on this server the Directadmin Ram usage is 290 Mb. Until now on previously vps server was aproximatly 220-240 Mb. This difference came from vps server bug, or I must to do something? How much is the normal ram usage for Directadmin? I wait for messages, opinions..
Thanks!

Hello,

A minimum 128 megabytes of memory is required (2+ Gig is preferred).

http://directadmin.com/install.html

My fresh installed server (VPS, CentOS i386) with directadmin uses about ~300-350Mb. I've got there disabled spamassassin and disabled popb4smtp, and some other optimizations are done, only 3 sites running (not even public).

Other VPS (CentOS amd64) with directadmin uses about ~900-1000Mb. Medium load with 46 users and 234 domains.

So it depends on what software is installed on your box and how it's configured.

512-1000Mb for 1500/day

Thank You, zEitEr!
It is interesting, because tha previous vps consumed only 240 Mb. Now I dont have visitors,I make only a few test, to learning. But, in a few weeks I want to make a website, and I hope with 1000-1500 visitors/day. The vps with 512 guaranteed, with 1000Mb burst ram. Will be too weak?

Is your both VPS are on the same hardware node? Do they have the same list of running software? Is software configured identically?

Will be too weak?

I won't answer your question. As I said already it depends on what software is used, and how it is configured, how big is your MySQL DBs, how much e-mails you receive, etc.

With default settings it might be to little.

Thanks for infos!

This vps are in an another serverlocation, /nod. on another service, but the same configuration/running softwares.probabbly I would to upgrade my vps. I'm a new user without experiments, I learned this today too..Thank you again, Zeiter!
