HI,

I've got a CentOS server where default directadmin setup is installed on.
Dovecot as mail server. Could not find anything in dovecot.conf.

All e-mails older than 7 days are deleted automatically - no emails older than 7 days stay on server.
Anyone knows where this is caused by?

Regards,

Zon

As no devices were powered on last night and again mails older than 7 days were removed while I was asleep.
I don't see anything relevant in /var/log/maillog (del= says no mails removed at that time, however between 2 logins mails inbox shrink from 125 to 80)

Maybe because you have configured your email locally on your PC with POP
And the setting to remove the mail after 7 days from the server?

You mean your email account [email protected] get purget every 7 days? Does this problem still remain if you change an account password? Did you set any crontab that may be missconfigured? Did you set the email account on a mobile phone in pop or something else?

Regards
