DirectAdmin unable to login

Dear,

I am running a directadmin webserver.
All working correctly for couple of months but now the directadmin control panel doesnt work.

The websites that the server should host are still online! BUT
The directadmin panel isn't working properly.

I get in the login screen, i type username password and get the error 'Error: document not found'.
When i type an incorrect username password it does say it is incorrect, try again.

I have seen this error by searching with google mostly because of skins.
I have never used a skin on my server, i never deleted a skin on my server.

To that can't be the problem (as far as i know).

Anyone that can help me ?

Try to update Directadmin to the latest release and see whether or not your issues if resolved.

This server was recently installed.

The installation version is 1.48.3.

Do you know if there is a way to 'repair' the directadmin installation?

The version installed was DirectAdmin 1.48.3.
It there a script to repair an installation?

With keeping the DNS settings etc.

I restored from backup and it is working again.

Still have no clue what went wrong

Hi,

It seems some of the pages necessary to validate were missing giving you the error. A compare of the backup files to that of the files when it was giving error could have given a clear picture of what went wrong.
