We are happy to announce the release of DirectAdmin 1.669.

This release brings a new improved global search in Evolution skin, a big update for the default login page and login flow in general, and a lot of smaller fixes and improvements.

The update should be automatically available for all installations subscribed to the current release channel.

We appreciate all the feedback on forums and issues reported in the ticketing system.

The Spam option is really great, only when you use a custom value for
Code: 
required_hits
and you create a new user you will not see the custom value in in the user SpamAssassin settings, see the screenshot below.

Also when you press refresh in the file manager the user switch header is not fixed in the final release like you said here

After the Directadmin update on our test server, we can't connect anymore to ConfigServer Security & Firewall.

Security Error: No valid session key

Information saved to [/var/lib/csf/da1729065031.error]


To disable DirectAdmin session checks, create a touch file called /var/lib/csf/csf.da.skip

Security Error: No valid session key

Session ID = []
Session File [/usr/local/directadmin/data/sessions/da_sess_]...does not exist


We downgrade back to the stable version 1.668 and it works again.

Yeah got the same on all servers, also the same with ConfigServer eXploit Scanner (cxs).
 
I believe that bug has been existing for a while without fix. You can logout DA and login again, it will work. Another bug for DA is suddenly not working, a browser restart will get DA back. Reported multiple times, without fix either. It seems those bugs not happening with everyone, not all the time, so they have very low priorities.
 
The adjustments we made to the admin menu via Customize Evolution Skin no longer work with this release as well.
 
Thanks for the CSF plugin report. This is most likely caused by plugin doing something we did not expect. Will check for potential temporary adjustments to keep it working. However proper fix will most likely require changes in the plugin as well.

@exlhost could you clarify what part of menu customization does not work? It seems to be working as expected on our test servers.

Our adjustments to sort the Admin Menu no longer work. We can save them but they are not displayed correctly. See image below.

An update is released with the following fixes:
  • A fix for the CSF (and some other plugins) to load session data, thanks @J89 .
  • A fix for Spamassassin settings page to show custom score value, thanks @exlhost .
  • A fix for FileManager to hide the partially visible account change bar, thanks @exlhost .
  • A fix for the HTTPD configurations page to show links for PHP configuration, thanks @Ohm J .
Regarding the customizations issue, to dig deeper we would need a copy of menu customization files to try and reproduce the problem. @exlhost could you please open a support ticket so we could get access to the server?
