I just wanted to post a quick note that for over two years I have been using DirectAdmin together alongside with the Webmin control panel. I can confirm that these two work together without issue as long as installation is done in a certain order and administrators understand that DA and Webmin are there to handle different, but complimenting duties.
When trying to build a server that has DA and Webmin, the first thing you the user needs to do is get DA installed and fully functioning. The purpose of DA is to manage domains, clients, bandwidth, services, etc. These are the most important aspects that need to be addressed first. However once DA is installed, simply download and extract the webmin tar.gz file. Install it and simply log in.
While Webmin can handle administering clients, bandwidth, and the same things that DA does, you will need to avoid using Webmin for that purpose. Webmins purpose will be to administer your overall linux/unix system such as viewing logs, administering cron jobs, watching your process list, modifying things like DNS and other dameons.
Personally I use Webmin to install RPM's via a web interface, check my system logs, restart services, command line/console via a web interface as well as file management.
As long as the two programs can be used in a manner that works together and not competing for doing the same thing, you can run both on your servers successfully.
I won't post step by step instructions since most linux and unix knowledgeable people here should be able to understand how to accomplish this. If you don't know how to do this, then maybe you should have someone install webmin for you. This is a post for those who know how, but never ran the two together because of not knowing what bad may happen. I can definately say that they work together 100% without negative consquence.
