Directadmin with nginx ?

has anyone tried this out.. i am planning to shift from apache to nginx but dont want to break directadmin

check this http://directadm.in/nginx
and google://directadmin+nginx will help you

i would be very interested if DA can officially support nginx
allow static content for nginx and dynamic for apache

example this

Unfortunately DirectAdmin checks for Apache on port 80 of the main IP, and change is impossible. According to this the only option, which will run this ligament is to install Nginx on other than port 80 (eg, 85) and forwarding all requests to port 80 (HTTP) on port 85. This can be done with FireWall.

if DA can incorporate nginx that would save us allot of hardware upgrade

I think it makes sense; to me he's suggesting that DirectAdmin checks for apache running on port 80, and requires it.

I'm not sure it does though.

@Frej:

Can you be more specific?

Jeff
