Directadmin won't start after update

Today i've updated to the last version from within the directadmin control panel.
After the update the directadmin service no longer started.
When I try to restart the service I get the following error:
directadmin dead but subsys locked

After a reboot of my server it still doesn't start. There are no errors in the directadmin log..

Anyone that knows what to do?
