Directories needed for manual Backup

Hi,

After a recent backup catastrophe, I have decided to create a small script that backups and SCP's to a spare server. So my questions is:

What directories and files need to be backed up, so far I have:

/etc/
/home
/var/named

So im not sure where things like MySQL DB's are kept, also will the dir's above backup all mail settings?

Look at the system backup link off the admin account. It has a list of all files/directories recommended for backups.
