Disable Admin Account

Sorry if it's been asked before, but I couldn't find it:

I would like to disable the Admin account and create another less-common named account for admin purposes.

I noticed that disabling an admin account disables all it's users, but not the users that the resellers may have created. My problem is that I haven't really created any resellers as I'm basically a one-man show.

Should I create my new admin, then for future reference create a new reseller, and try to (I assume I can) move all users to the new reseller, and finally disable the main 'admin' account?

Since every account is linked to the admin account when you disable it you are suspending all of the accounts under it. You need to create another admin account and move all of the accounts to that account first. Then when you suspend the main admin account nothing should happen.

Hello,

Correct. As chr1831 mentioned, you can delete "admin", but you must first move all of "admin's" Users to the new Admin (or a new Reseller)

1) Create the new Admin.

2) Use "Admin Level -> Move Users Between Reseller's" to move the User's to the new Admin (or some other Reseller)

3) Login as the new Admin.

4) Delete the old "admin".

Thanks chr1831 and support. I'll give it a try. I assume it's ok to just suspend the admin account, and not really delete it. Just paranoia.
