Disable PHP

Im trying to disable PHP for one domain i uncheck the PHP Access under user details, but php still works for the domain. Is there something im missing ?

ive checked via phpinfo

Yes i have tried to restart reload httpd.
What is added to the vhost httpd config to disable php or can i do it via .htaccess ?
