disable plain text autentication

Hi,

What's correctly way to disable imap/pop/smtp/pureftpd plain text authentication with custombuild? (to keep the setting after updates)

ex. to disable dovecot

/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
disaple_plaintext_auth=yes
