Hi all
I've already found a topic asking about this, but there is no definitive answer.
I would like to make my exim.conf changes persistent, except I don't see a way without copying exim.conf into the custombuild custom folder.
I would like to disable plain text login on SMTP, IMAP and POP3 (and FTP too).
With dovecot, it is an easy change in a custom config file. (disable_plaintext_auth=yes)
With proftpd it is also an easy change. (TLSRequired on)
But with exim, you need to change 2 lines: See: https://docs.directadmin.com/other-...llow-smtp-auth-login-if-encryption-is-enabled
Should I copy my changed exim.conf into custombuild custom folder to make these changes persistent?
Or is there a more convenient way to make these changes persistent? I am thinking about if DirectAdmin is changing the exim.conf file. I should then remake my changes into the new version of exim.conf.
Kind regards
Dries
