Disable suPHP for specific site

Hi,

I want to use suPHP for my server, but one of my users uses gallery2 which seems to break when used with suPHP

I had a search through their forum for workarounds, but it seemed rather lacking (a few people with problems with suPHP, but none that seem to have steps to resolve)

So, is there a way of disabling suPHP for a specific site? Or does anyone perhaps know how to configure either gallery2 or suPHP in a way so that they can work together?

try this solution:

open /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/X/httpd.conf (replace X with desired user)

find:

suPHP_Engine ON

replace with:

suPHP_Engine OFF

* this line will be there for every user's domain.

I tried replacing the ON with OFF then restarting apache, but seemingly no joy
Is there a specific command I should issue to force suPHP to reread the configuration? I would have thought either 'reload'ing or restarting apache would have done it...
