Disappearance of Memory

dear friends:

hi.

my vps available 8 GB memory.

after install directadmin my memory changed to 3 Gb.

in the vmware is 8Gb after reboot and run viewed 8Gb .
but run centos and directadmin changed to 3Gb.

[root@srv public_html]# free -m
             total       used       free     shared    buffers     cached
Mem:          3030        135       2894          0          0         21
-/+ buffers/cache:        113       2916
Swap:         8001          0       8001

please help.
