What kind of disk management are you looking for? There are several applications, each with their own strength in different areas.

And since you said graphical, you want something based of the x window stuff?

guess i did leave that one out in left field, iam purchasing some "Like New !" scsi drives and was looking for something to run test on them before installing os,,, found one but it doesn't see the controller or raid hardware on the old proliant boxes,,, any how i saw the first star trek on tv way back when an every thing since and most of stargate too...

Ok, so your looking for something that's bootable off a floppy or cd drive and not dependent on an operating system already existing.
Does your bios report all hard drive information correctly?
Are the scsi controllers integrated with your motherboard or did you have to buy seperate PCI/e controllers?

Is this raid going to be hardware or software driven?
You might actually try the manufacturers, at least for example, most home use motherboards nowdays have some sort of raid/disk management included.

I have to admit I've never touched scsi in my life, but I have a feeling it's about the same as sata.

It's to bad Star Trek has really gone down. I didn't think much of the last Enterprise "series", if you can call it that. At least the shows in my sig make up for it.
