Disk Space,need help!!

My server is riching the Maximun of disk space 50000, I have now 453650 , How can I upgrade the disk space on my server. Sorry if I'm posting in the incorrect section, but right now I'm confuse and I need some help. Thanks in advance.

I'm going to guess you need another hard drive (if there's room for it in your case) or a larger disk drive (which may require backing up, completely rebuilding, and then restoring.

Tell us more. Is the server yours? Or is it a dedicated server rented from someone?

Thanks for your respond , I share the server with someone else. I would like to know what can I erase on my site that would give me more space on the disk or what can takes space on the disk? Thanks for your help.

That would depend on how your partitions are set up.

For example, perhaps deleting old logs would help, but perhaps it wouldn't.

A few weeks ago...

A few weeks ago I got a message that I was using almost all disk space on a server that should have about 1TB left, when I checked, I had found I had configured the back ups wron and for the previous month it kept all backups and did not overwrite, I corrected, deleted most backups and now have 800G available!
also you may have admin_backup and user_backup, you only really need 1 of these if you have backup in both!
Either way, thats quite a bit on a drive, look over what your clients are doing too, is someone running a file sharing site?
But the good news is, HDs are so much cheeper today than just a few years ago!
