Disk usage 10m refresh delay

When trying to update disk usage within 10m after the previous report, I am getting the following error message:

Unable to update your Disk Usage
You must wait at least 10 minutes between updates.You have mm:ss left.

My hosting provider says this is hard-coded by DA and not something that can be modified; Is this true?

According to this article:

There is an interval minimum time, default is 10 minutes and can be changed in directadmin.conf. So no, it is not hardcoded.
