Distributing Licenses with WHMCS

I sell VPSs and previously had a template with DA preinstalled. When a client purchased a VPS with DA, when booted, it would automatically update the license.

Now with the new DA license system that no longer works. Does anybody here use WHMCS to distribute DA licenses or do you manually send them to clients? I am trying to figure out a way to automatically send the client the license key so they can install DA themselves or some other automated solution. Anybody have any ideas?

What about adding a start-up script to your template that is calling an internal site which replies with the license hash that is bound to the ip the request is coming from? Once the script has got the license hash as reply, it starts the install process.
