DKIM Record Check Failure

Hello guys,
I'm new to DirectAdmin. I have been using the panel for just a few days, and I'm amazed at how great it seems to be for most normal stuff you would need to administer your website properly.

So far I haven't encountered any major problems except for setting up my DKIM signature correctly. With cPanel it was extremely easy to do because it has this module called Email Deliverability which clearly gives you the exact records you need to add to your DNS, (CloudFlare in my case). It also warns you if these are not set properly in your DNS provider etc.

I have followed some guides for doing the same in DirectAdmin, SPF and DMARC pass, but DKIM check fails. When sending mail from my domain to GMail this is what it reports:

My DirectAdmin DKIM record I have set as follows:

And then on my CloudFlare DNS section I added this way:

Can anyone be so kind a help a newbie set this up properly? I really want my mail delivered properly, and I want to adhere to standards, so my IP is not blacklisted etc.

Hmmz... I wonder which guides you were following because it certainly does not look well. As normally DA uses the x and not default.
Directadmin creates the key for you automatically, nothing much you have to do yourself except for copying the recors if you use an external DNS.

Have a look at this.

First of all thanks for helping. Perhaps it was an outdated guide I found. Since it wouldn't work with that guide either I ended up using the same record I had on CPanel to see if I could make it work.

As soon as I get home I'll follow the instructions you sent me. However how do I remove the current changes? Do I just disable DKIM for the account in DirectAdmin then enable it back and that will reset everything in the DA configuration?

Thanks a lot, it looks like I was overthinking this more than I really should have. After following your advice, it's now working properly and mail arrives with all PASS checks.

You're welcome. Sorry I responded so late because of your previous question, but due to high energy prices and ending of my contract, we're now also on too high prices at home and I keep my pc off as much as possible. And I don't like to work from a laptop.

But glad to read it's fixed now and working as desired!
