DNS management issues

Hello there,

We've had a client that is finding issues with DNS management in Direct Admin.
He wants to add the following for domain via DirectAdmin ->"DNS Management" section

wap.domain.com. CNAME modhi.domain.org
domain.com. CNAME modhi.domain.org

Clients Quote :

First line i add w/o any problem, but when i try to add the second one i got an error

dns_master_load: /var/named/domain.com.db.temp:33: domain.com: CNAME and other data
zone domain.com/IN: loading master file /var/named/domain.com.db.temp: CNAME and other data

I tried figuring out the issue that might be, but really struggling to hit the right string and would appreciate if someone could be help me with that.

Hello,

domain.com. CNAME modhi.domain.org.

You can not add CNAME record for domain.com, just only for wap.domain.com. Please read RFC for details or search the forums for explanations.
