DNS Multi Server works partially

Hi,

I have 2 servers using DNS Multi Server Setup
srv1.myserver.com and srv2.myserver.com

From srv1.myserver.com towards to srv2.myserver.com all records for all sites transfer working fine
From srv2.myserver.com to srv1.myserver.com working partially , some of sites (2) not working the transfer

Its very bizarre and I am looking help how to troubleshoot the case.

Any suggestion where to start looking ?

I presume you ment DA Multi Server Setup. If that is the case I would suggest to start looking at the directadmin logfiles as the transfer take place via Directadmin command, not via DNS requests.

Since it's only some sites not working just to be sure also look in the named logfile.

From the sites which are not working, check the SOA serial if they are the same on both servers.
I presume you already used the task queue command to send over all records?

Hi,

I am looking for logs location to understand the reason why transfer fails.
Where are the logs for sync ?
Where I can search for errors ?

My Case :
Option is only A Zone Transfer enabled
Site DNS deleted by mistake and recreated manually , after that started the error

I would suggest to start looking at the directadmin logfiles

DA logfiles are to be found in /var/log/directadmin and just to be sure you can also check /var/log/named.log or something like that. I changed the default and created several logs for named so I'm not sure of the name anymore but I thought it was named.log. If you're on Debian/Ubuntu it might be called bind.log or something like that.
