Hey sisters and brothers,
I've been doing this on my own for the last two weeks with spotty success. I'd appreciate any help anybody can give me. Let me give you the breakdown.
I did a fresh install of directadmin/centos. I have two admin accounts, 'admin', and one account I made for a site import from another server, created on this server using the same account/pass.
The servers hostname is hn.ballotorthebullet.com:
The domain I'm trying (on secondary admin acct) to resolve is http://aiyn.ca
I went to IP management in the original admin account, added the second IP and assigned both to admin:
On my admin account, the only domain added is anticapital.info, on secondary admin is aiyn.ca, and ballotorthebullet.com is added by default. Here's the overview of all domains listed:
When I go to the admin reseller panel -> nameservers, I see the following, giving no option to assign the nameservers to ballotorthebullet, rather it's telling me to do anticapital.info:
(Note: I can't add ballotorthebullet.com domain in user panel, it already exists as hostname domain)
With no option to assign these IPs to the ns1/ns2 of root domain ballotorthebullet.com, which is what I had set the aiyn.ca dns to point to, I was wondering if it's best if I manually added the A records to ballotorthebullet.com: http://imgur.com/eE0E7.png
ns1.ballotorthebullet.com. 66.79.186.85
ns2.ballotorthebullet.com. 66.79.186.94
Above is the DNS info for ballotorthebullet.com in the 'admin' admin panel with the A records added (assuming they are correct). Here is the aiyn.ca dns info:
I've tried to tie the loose ends but I'm uncertain if it's correct. Before telling the organization to wait another 72hrs for it to resolve, I hope to hear some insight as to whether the entered values are correct or incorrect, or what it is I'm doing wrong - I haven't the slightest idea yet.
--------
Somebody please help me, what am I doing wrong? I've waited several days upon many single changes only to come up with dns errors and connection timeouts.
Thanks in advance!
