DNS on two server boxes.

I would like to have two servers with DA install. One server would be the NS1 and the other one would be NS2.

All websites will be hosted in both servers. How do I setup that DA will update domain name in both DNS servers.

So that each server will have the records of the other, or is there another easier way to do that.

So far I am only have one DA server running, should I have two DNS servers in one box or just one DNS server. I think DA automatic installed NS1 and NS2.

I am newbie to DA, so please share your experiences with me.

By default DA installs one copy of BIND which can run vurtually as many different nameservers.

That works for many of us, automatically, as two servers, and you don't have to do anything at all to make it work, except make sure that both nameserver names are registered with your registrar and that there are A records and NS records for both nameservers.

DA cannot manage two different servers. If you want to run slave DNS on another server you need to know how to set up DNS on that other server and you have to create your own method of letting the slave server know which domains it needs to slave.

You can use the master2slave script, to help you; you can find it by searching these forums.
