I have a brand new ded with directadmin setup. First of all the named seems to be caching, is this correct or does direct admin keep its named.conf somewhere else? second I am having a problem with setting it up. the nameserver is listening on ns1.localhost.localdomain Definately not something I can tell my registrar to point my domain straight at it. Can I just add a zone and point ns1.mydomain.com at that ip and then tell my registrar to use that? or is there something special i need to do? any help would be apprechiated
