dns problem

Can anybody help me I can't get the dns working properly and as usual there is no support.

If you look at http://www.intodns.com/theweb.co.za you get this:

You get dns erros

This is causing us not to send or receive emails from certain domains

a nslookup :

ANy idea what is the reason for this?

Why are both your nameservers pointing to the same ip address?

I don't have a second server or can I use any other dns server ip?

You have to set up A records for

ns2.theweb.co.za
ns1.theweb.co.za

These do not resolve.

It does not look like you have added the domain theweb.co.za since nothing resolves for it at your server.

I thought that ns1 & ns2 should be ns rec ords not type A must I then remove the ns1 & ns2 (ns) records>

here is my dns settings



I add ns1 and ns2 for my domain at domain registrant.

So, why my ip or ns1 and ns2 ain't resolving... I don't see that anything is wrong here...


you can check domain www.makemoneyonweb.info I point him to ns1.hp-hosting.net and ns2.hp-hosting.net because my hp-hosting.net is temporarily hosted at eu.pn.

Your linked image is too small for me to read.

ns1.hp-hosting.net and ns2.hp-hosting.net cannot be found. They need to be defined both at the registrar where hp-hosting.net is registered, and in the zone file for hp-hosting.net, wherever that is located.

I contact idotz (my domain registrar) and they give me those 2 link, and told me that everything is OK...

If you look those link you will se that my NS exist and resolve to the IPs, but I get that result only at reports.internic.net, all other site tell me that ns1 and ns2 don't exist...

That's because i now host hp-hosting.net at www.eu.pn (it is free hosting) until I resolve this problem.

You can check makemoneyonweb.info, he is pointed to ns1.hp-hosting.net and ns2.hp-hosting.net

P.S.
Just a thought, do I maybe need to point my domain (hp-hosting.net) to ns1.hp-hosting.net and ns2.hp-hosting.net for this to work?
