Hello,

my nameserver Ips haven't any domain associated with so they don't resolve DNS.

I have ns1.example.com at IP 000.000.000.001
and ns2.example.com at IP 000.000.000.002.

I want they resolve in this way:

000.000.000.001 -> one.example.com
000.000.000.002 -> two.example.com.

I will ask to resolve them to my host,
but ... what do I have to do in directamin? Do i need to create 2 subdomains even if they will be only to resolve IPs?

Anyway, this procedure to assign ns1 and ns2 Ips to the same domain is right?

Thanks.

Name servers do not need any domains on them to resolve. When you register name servers at your registrar they are created in the root nameservers. You do not need them to reverse ip to host it is pointless. It would only be for your benefit.

Oh that just means that the ip address they are hosted on doesnt resolve. It is up to you if you want to get that changed through your isp. I doubt it will make much difference though.
