Hello,
Today I found a problem with my DA server not sending emails.
Then, after looking at logs, I noticed it was not resolving host names.
Becase everything seemed to be as expected, I asked my ISP and aswered the following:
I have unblocked your server from are DNS block list. Your server is trying to connect to are DNS on ports that are not allowed. Please verify that you server has not been hacked. Here is a copy of the ports your server is trying to use. We only take DNS request on TCP port 53
protocol=dns/udp, src_ip=aa.bb.cc.dd, src_port=43890, dst_ip=aa.bb.cc.dd, dst_port=53, src_ip_nat=0.0.0.0, src_port_nat=0
Any sugestions about what could be wrong?
Should I worry about my server being compromised? Or is it normal haveing different source ports for DNS server connection?
After beeing unblocked mail is working back and server resolving correctly.
