dns server and bad zone data

hi

too often a times, i find that bad zone data gets entered and makes it unable to start the nameserver.

so my question is, can a user with 'modify dns option' be able to input bad zone data which can consequently take down the name server?

You have to show us what kind of zone data it thinks is bad.
