I just enabled a per-user php.ini file for a customer and one of his domains, because he wanted to increase the max upload php limit. I did it by adding code to the custom httpd.conf for his domain. More information here:

I am running a shared webhosting business. I am now considering if I should do this gloabal so that all my users can use custom php.ini files on their domains without asking me to activate this first.
What are you other people doing? Do you consider this a risk, or do you setup your shared hosting server so that all users as default can use their own php.ini files?
