Hello,
I've tried the tips at:
http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=199
to change the default directory of subdomains, but i did not make a backup. Now it's not working, subdirectories are just redirecting ..somewhere...(Apache is functioning normally).
Do you have default directadmin/apache .conf files? How can I correct the mess I did?

Thank you very much. It did the trick.

Regarding the "How do I change the DocumentRoot of only one of my subdomains?" I have to copy the conf files to the custom folder and then change those, right? (not like I did - changing the main conf files) ?
And if I fail to do something, i just delete the .conf files in custom/ and everything should revert to the original state?

If someone versed in DA is looking over the article at http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=199, my conf files are not exactly as the ones in the example...as far as I remember, one of the lines was missing in the original conf file that i needed to change.
Can someone please help me with this?

The templates will change all Document root for all your domains/subdomains, not just the one you want to change; that's why all your sites got redirected. This will be true even if you do move them to the custom directory (which of course you should still do).

If you want to make them work for only one subdomain you need to use conditionals; make sure they're correct.

Or simply change the domain-level httpd.conf file and chattr it immutable. Quick and dirty, but it works. However if you do be sure to keep notes somewhere; you won't be able to make intended changes, and you won't be able to completely delete the account.
