Does DA automatically restart Apache in case of a failure?

Does DirectAdmin automatically try to restart Apache if it detects a failure? If so, how often does the restart script run? Where can I find the script contents and the cron job?

Yes. DA is setup to restart the following services if they go down:

Apache
Exim
MySQL
Named
ProFTPd
sshd
vm-Pop3d

The /etc/crontab file contains the cron that executes DirectAdmin's data task file which checks the services every minute I believe.
