Does opteron works with DA ?

I already made search in this forum for opteron. But cannot find the question I really wanted to ask.

Does opteron works with DA ?
Because I am planning to use opteron platform as my next server.

Please advise.

Yes it works without any problems, but you will have to run the Opteron in 32 bit mode. As far as I know 64 bit platforms are not supported yet.

Another option that might work is running the Opteron in 64-bit mode with 32-bit emulation, but I haven't tested that.
