Domain access_log and arror_log

Hi All,

Standard de httpd logs tot the domain logfile, correct?

Is it possible that these logs also log into the normal http error_log and access_log? Now we have to search by problems the lofiles from all domains on that server!

You've got a good question and make a good point.

There is a fix in these forums for pointing all error logging to the same log, but it get's a bit more complex with access logging:

If you're willing to break stats you can change the appropriate logging line in /etc/httpd.conf to log everything to only one logfile.

As far as I know, httpd lines override multiple lines of the same type so it may not be possible to log in both places. John? Anyone?

I also emailed this question to DA support and got an answer.

If you want everything to show up in access_log and error_log in addition to the domains/domain.com.log files.. then you'd use this to edit the templates:

and add the extra log entries (ErrorLog and CustomLog)
