Domain pointer vs actual (and flipping?)

Hi all,

I have a primary domain with a pointer domain to it. Is there an easy way to flip these? The obvious issue is the primary domain has emails and a website defined. I'm wondering if there is an easy way to flip the pointer to become the primary domain and the primary be a pointer (that I may later want to delete)?

Any ideas?

remove pointer name1.
rename domain from name2 to name1
add new pointer name2
of course if website don't have fixed paths in config. Also check database is there exact domain listed and replace it.
