Hi, I wonder if anyone can tell me how I do the following.

I have set up a sub domain on my server for a client. They have now asked me to point some domain names to the sub domain? how do you do this. You can only point a domain in the control panel to the main domain and not a sub domain.

I want to be able to point my domains at a sub domain.

Can anyone help please.

Thanks
Barry

I can think of two ways to do it:

The first way would be to create ServerAlias directives in the httpd.conf file for the domain. Only the admin level user can do it. And then to make sure to create DNS zones for the domains being pointed to the subdomain. Again, only the admin level user can do it.

The second way can be done by either the reseller or the user (presuming s/he has the right to create additional domains), but requires deleting the subdomain where it's created, and creating it again as a regular user. Then when you mage the regular user you'll be able to point domains to it.
