Domain2 redirection to domain1/domain2

I currently have a hosting account e-g-o.be where I have also parked a second domain, cheesepoints.be.
With a domain pointer, I've forwarded cheesepoints.be to e-g-o.be.
With a .htaccess file, I've directed cheesepoints.be to e-g-o.be/cheesepoints
I've also set-up the subdomain cheesepoint.e-g-o.be pointing to that directory in directadmin.
All works fine, but when I call for cheesepoints.be, I get cheesepoints.e-g-o.be in the adress bar.
I would like to have the cheesepoints.be remain in the adress bar.

The support team from my hoster gave this forum to look for a solution???

As I'm a complete newby, I would really appreciate your help.

If you create the pointer as an alias, it should appear properly in the address bar.

You wrote that your hoster recommended you looked here for a solution. Did you? Or did you just ask without looking? I ask because this has been discussed many times previously.
