When a DirectAdmin update is available it is possible that the LetsEncrypt script is downgraded because the version bundled with the update is lower then the actual available version. Described by Ditto here;

https://forum.directadmin.com/showthread.php?t=56747&p=290742#post290742

It also happened to me when I upgraded DirectAdmin. Version 1.1.10 (Installed version) was downgraded to 1.1.9 (Bundled with DA Update) after the update. So;

- Is it possible to add a check to the DirectAdmin update script to verify the current and latest version, and if the bundled version is lower then the installed version don't overwrite it?

I second this request. If it's not a bug.

A DA upgrade should never downgrade other applications, at least not without warning.
So a check would be nice or when overwritten, automatically an update of letsencrypt is also done afterwards.
