Duplicate A records

Hello everyone, just wanted to confirm, in terms of A records,

ns1
ns2

is the same as

ns1.domain.com.
ns2.domain.com.

right?

Meaning I could remove the extra entries in this screenshot?



The ns1/ns2 entries were made under cPanel prior to my migration to DA, while the ns1.domain.com./ns2.domain.com. were made by DA under Server Manager > Name Servers > Create Name Servers. Which is used more often by websites these days?

Note that I have totally separate entries for my NS records, set up like this:

yes, "ns" without dot "." at the end equal to "ns.domain.name." with dot "." at the end

 

[Grim]

yes, "ns" without dot "." at the end equal to "ns.domain.name." with dot "." at the end
