E-Mail Filter settings

If I make an E-Mail filter containing:

it ready

Will the header and the content of the mail be scanned for two separate texts?

and

ready

That is actually a good question I would like to know that as well.

write ' it ready ' for the 2 exact words together
notice the blank space before and after

if you write 'it ready' it will catch all inner contents even it's a lot thing between the 2 words... or partial...

Ok that is what I was afraid of.

I tested it but could not reproduce it, but one of my customers uses filters built with two words sparated with a space.

Changes are it filters out all mails with one of both....

Yes, and also it gets worse:

tit filters out petition and ass filters out assembly. If you're not careful you filter out the U.S. Declaration of Independence .

Client managed to put in a "Re:" filter and a "Fwd:" filter!!!

Guess what happened....

He filtered out every response to every email he ever sent .

Oh well.
