Hi all,

Maybe I have not been searching good enough, but I have a strange problem. When a customer of mine tries to delete a account to empty it, and adding it again, it keeps saying that there is still data in the directory? So 10mb data total in the e-mail account even if you delete it, and try to add it again. It keep saying 10mb total. When I look on the server, it's really not a total of 10mb, but less because it has been deleted. So can some one tell me why this is? Or maybe somebody who had simular problems like this? I will also e-mail to support about this, maybe they know what this problem is.

Thanks for reading!

Hello,

Hmm. Try hovering your mouse over the account name. It should show you where the disk usage is coming from.
It might be in /var/www/html/webmail/tmp/ or something like that.

Let me know where it is, and I'll double check that it's getting deleted in the code. (have not heard other issues, so not too sure if it's isolated or not)

Hi all,

Well, yes the problem was that the directory of the e-mail account still was standing here after deletion:

/var/www/html/webmail/tmp/

When I deleted that one by hand, it worked like a sharm. So if you could put in the new release this little bugfix, would be very nice ;).

Thanks for your help.

Email Problem

Hi All

I have a problem with an email account that was deleted by the client. I need to know how i can retrieve this as there is no backup.

I also seem to be having the same problem with space. The backend says that there is 7mb of mail in the box, however it is actually empty.

Assistance will be appreciated.

Thank You

Short of removing the drive immediately after the deletion and doing low-level recovery, you really can't.

I'm not sure what you mean about the backend.
