e1000_watchdog_task: NIC Link is Down

Not exactly sure what this means, but my system wasn't accessible after 3am last night. Just came back up after speaking with colo. Here's what I see in my logs:

uno kernel: e1000: eth0: e1000_watchdog_task: NIC Link is Down
uno kernel: e1000: eth0: e1000_watchdog_task: NIC Link is Up 100 Mbps Full Duplex, Flow Control: RX

There are a couple in each of my /var/log/messages files. Anyone seen this?
