Hi guys,
I was monitoring exim's log and found out that there are quite a number of emails rejected because of the recipient's addresss prepended by '3D' character.
Here is the log example :
2004-12-23 09:58:56 H=(broadbandcms.com) [219.95.254.55] F=<nadeeya@yahoo.com> rejected RCPT <3dstanley@broadbandcms.com>
The correct email is stanley@broadbandcms.com, any idea? Thanks.
More example...
2004-12-23 09:38:18 H=(travelsight.com.my) [218.111.39.123] F=<crir@tm.net.my> rejected RCPT <3ddavidloh@travelsight.com.my>
2004-12-23 09:38:52 H=(travelsight.com.my) [218.111.39.123] F=<zttsb@po.jaring.my> rejected RCPT <3ddavidloh@travelsight.com.my
2004-12-23 09:40:10 H=(127.0.0.1) [219.95.250.232] F=<hredzalh@wowmail.com> rejected RCPT 3Dbernard@broadline.com.my
2004-12-23 09:42:51 H=(ywlmcfpt.my) [218.111.162.87] F=<user_info@ipop1.tm.net.my> rejected RCPT <3Dn_aisha@wings-gp.com.my>
2004-12-23 10:01:18 H=(127.0.0.1) [219.95.250.232] F=<kgpm@tm.net.my> rejected RCPT 3Dysong@e-campus.com.my
Bunch of them, isn't it a serious problem?
