Email alias blacklist

Hello

Using DirectAdmin since many years, my life would be much easier with an email aliases blacklist.

Currently, I maintain a large list of email aliases, a whitelist principle.
Emails to aliases defined in the aliases list are forwarded to a pop3 account.
Non existent aliases are notified that the address doesn't exist.

A blacklist principle like the following would be less time consuming to maintain:
All emails to non existent aliases (except blacklisted aliases) are forwarded to a pop3 account.
All emails to blacklisted aliases are notified that the address doesn't exist.

It would be nice if such a feature could be available soon, in a future direct admin implementation.

Presently, the nearest thing to do would be to allow forwarding non-existent aliases to a pop3 account and to set up an email filter to block a specific email alias. But the only choices are to drop the email or to forward it to the spambox. There is no choice to notify the sender that the address doesn't exist.

Thank you.

Email alias blacklist (addition)

Sorry, the mentioned "nearest thing to do" would not work either, since the email blocklist does block sender email adresses, NOT destination email adresses.
Thus there is nothing presently that would be usable as a blacklist in the spirit I wish it.
Thank you.

Thinking this out now... wouldn't this mean you'd get a lot of spam, for example, from dictionary attacks, similarly to what happens if/when you use a catchall?
