Hi,
This is my first post here. Hi!

I am forwarding all my email to my gmail account at the
moment and I'd like to delete the emails on the server after they are
forwarded - I can't find out how to do that...

Hi,

When you only want to forward mail without storing it on the server you can create a forwarder only (without a pop3-account).
When you have a pop3-account and a forwarder for the same mail-address, the mail is forwarded AND stored on the server.

Alternatively, you could remove the forwarder and let gmail handle the (pop3)mail retrieval from your pop3-account

Aha, thanks for the reply, I could let gmail handle it of course!

But let see, I have five different websites with two or three email
addresses on each, so I wouldn't need to set up pop 3 accounts for these?
Could I send from all the different addresses still, through the gmail
server or through my broadband suppliers server...
Maybe a stupid question...eh? But that would be a lot simpler,
I could then forward everything to the gmail..?
Well I look forward to learn more about this.

If the account you want to forward the mail for is a DirectAdmin User Level account, you'll need to do things a little differently if you don't want the mail stored. DirectAdmin creates the user account's e-mail as a full mailbox and there's no way to change that. So, to just forward the e-mail for a user account, create a .forward file in the user's home directory containing the e-mail address you want the mail forwarded to.
