Email not sending (external mail server)

Hi everyone
I have a few clients that are now using mailservers external to the website. I have specified the MX and A records and all is working well...

...almost. The website forms (form to email scripts) on their websites can't send mail.

How do I configure DA so the local email isnt active, and uses an export MX record?

I have exactly the same problem.
MX records are set on external server and everything works fine, except the "sendmail" via forms.

I have the "Local Mail Server". Unchecked in the admin panel.

But no chance ;(
 
Do you have the MX record and other IP#s set up properly in DNS?

What does the /var/log/exim/mainlog say about the delivery attempts?

Hi Jeff,

I am helping with nrnf's problem. Its my
server and DA license.

There is nothing in the mail log when the
form is submitted. I think that tells me that
my server is not handling the mail at all
and that it is being sent to the other mail
server. Does that sound right? If the other
mail server handles it then it would not be
in my exim log would it?
